EPL Team-by-team previews, picks and bets: Part Two

After an extremely short beak, the Premier League is back, and there's no better season to get into English soccer than this one!

The top teams are all looking strong, including Christian Pulisic's Chelsea who have made some big signings in the off-season.

âš½ Liverpool

Liverpool were absolutely unreal last season and with the addition of Thiago Alcantara, they are more than likely going to finish top two again, with a serious chance of going back-to-back. Head coach Jurgen Klopp won’t be resting on his laurels and probably started planning for this season just days after winning last season’s title.

With Man City signing the best player in the world, Liverpool are currently plus money for the league and should be bet on. City’s focus will be on the Champions League which could leave Liverpool to stroll to the Premier League title once again.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Champions (+225)

âš½ Manchester City

A disappointing finish to last season saw them lose out on both the Premier League and the Champions League. Lots of rumors flying around that they could be signing some little Argentinian guy called Lionel Messi which I guess could help their chances.

There’s nowhere near enough value around for any other bets, so if you’re liking City this season, then you have to play them to win the league. We on the other hand are thinking bigger, with that elusive Champions League title within their grasp.

Dimers’ Pick - Champions League winners (+450)

âš½ Manchester United

Headlined by players like Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, United has one of the most exciting lists in the league. The Red Devils were one of the best teams after the restart and should benefit from the short turnaround between seasons.

We like United to push Liverpool and City, safely securing a top-four finish and subsequent Champions League qualification.

Dimers’ Pick - Top 4 (-228)

âš½ Newcastle

Last season ended with the hope of new, uber-rich owners taking over and taking the proud Toon Army to a whole new level. But alas, it wasn’t to be and now Newcastle are at great risk of relegation.

As long as Mike Ashley is running this club, there’s not a whole lot of hope for the Magpies, and we think they are on their way down to the Championship (which hopefully results in the sale of the club to someone who actually cares).

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Relegation (+215)

âš½ Sheffield United

Sheffield was a surprise packet last season, finishing ninth with their first crack back in the top flight.

Not great odds on offer here for our top pick but with the next option with most sportsbooks being for them to finish top 10, our best pick is for them to stay up.

Dimers’ Pick - No bet

âš½ Southampton

Southampton were one of the best teams after the restart last season and their good form actually started even earlier than that. Ralph Hasenhuttl is an awesome coach and the Saints proved their love for him by sticking with him after a 9-0 loss to Leicester last season.

Southampton is a common choice for a second favorite team and we have them finishing top 10, which wouldn't really upset anyone! (Except Portsmouth fans).

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Top 10 (+150)

âš½ Tottenham

Spurs have been the talk of the town since their season documentary was released on Amazon Prime streaming services and they will be hopeful of a better season than last.

Tottenham is an extremely hard team to gauge this season and with a few teams definitely better than them, our best bet for this team is Harry Kane to win the Golden Boot.

Dimers’ Pick - Harry Kane top league goalscorer (+550)

âš½ West Brom

West Brom stumbled to the finish line last season, finishing second in the Championship behind Leeds. Head coach Slaven Bilic led West Ham to a 7th place finish (CHECK, WAS IT 6th) in his last foray into the Premier League so definitely knows how to get a team to perform above expectations.

Most people have West Brom going down, but we’re projecting them survive, even if it comes down to the final day of the season.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Avoid relegation (-137)

âš½ West Ham

West Ham are one of the most unpredictable sides in English soccer and with rumors of an impending ownership change, you’re probably best to avoid betting on them altogether.

They have a lot of talent on their list compared to other teams considered around the same mark, but with so much uncertainty around the club, your best bet is to pick a team you like West Ham more than this season and play the Hammers to finish above them.

Dimers’ Pick - To finish higher than Leeds (+100)

âš½ Wolverhampton

An extremely talented squad and a head coach to match it. Wolves finished 7th last season and should be able to push a similar position in 2020/21.

We've got them to finish top 10 but if you're keen on some better odds, a top 6 finish isn't out of the question for this club.

Dimers’ Pick - Top 10 (-334)
